Highfield Garden Reserve and Donkey Society Inc. looks after the donkeys and their environment, with help from local volunteers and donations, in partnership with Auckland Council.

Memberships are only $10 per household per financial year (1st July to 30th June).

Volunteer

Give back to your community and consider becoming a volunteer with Highfield! We are always looking for volunteers to help out with maintaining the reserve and for our special events such as our Donkey Days - these are all volunteer-led.

We have a working bee at Highfield every Tuesday morning starting at 9am. If you have an interest in donkeys, gardening and/or a particular knowledge around native trees, plants and orchards -
we'd love to hear from you.
